I have fine, thin hair (in a mid-length bob) and an oily scalp. I recently tried 3 new root lifters for blow dry days - this one, Living Proof’s, and Color Wow’s. This one was by far the best ! Living Proof left my hair visibly and touchably dry, and somehow removed slip and made my hair more difficult to brush through. Color Wow was fine, no complaints - I probably would’ve kept using it if I didn’t have this third one in my arsenal. But Davines stole the show! I got the same lift as Color Wow’s, AND the added benefit of improving softness shine. I love that I can spray it root to tip and the fullness benefits my entire mane, not just the crown!! The finished texture is lovely… I don’t feel anything other than soft, clean hair. I certainly find this product to be worth the extra bucks.

I’m sad to return this item after reading all the amazing reviews! This spray smells so good but did not work for my hair. I have a lot of fine hair and was looking for a volumizing spray to add body without weighing my hair down. This product left an almost sticky feeling film on my hair and didn’t add any noticeable volume. It also made my hair way more difficult to brush with knots and tangling.
Davines VOLU Hair Mist really gives my fine hair a new look. I’m amazed of how this mist makes my hair voluminous and soft but it’s very lightweight. The heat protection of up to 230C is also a plus point. Love it!
I really notice a difference in volume of my hair when I air dry with this product in! I love that it doesn’t feel like anything, it doesn’t weigh down my hair, and it also leaves my hair feeling softer
As someone with straight fine hair I like any product that helps when styling. I like this one because it doesn’t weigh my hair down or feel oily after using which a lot of other volumizing products do for me.
This volume most smells really fresh & clean! The smell lingers on my hair for awhile after I use it. I spray it on my damp hair and then blowdry and it leaves my hair with a nice boost of volume without feeling sticky or leaving any residue or crunchiness.
I could see a decent amount of volume from using it, and it did not feel gritty like other volume sprays or powders. I did not really like the mister, though. It felt like it sprayed too much and i wish it would’ve been a softer mist.
I have been using this VOLU hair mist for the last month on towel dried hair and I feel like it has been adding great volume to my hair! I can definitely see a change in my hair and am loving it!! I definitely recommend it!
I have fine hair, and this spray gave me really nice volume without making my hair feel sticky or crunchy. I use it on damp roots before blow drying, and my hair looks fuller, soft, and still natural.
I get great daily volume with this spray which makes me so happy. I have very over processed hair with a lot of extensions so volume is not something I’m familiar but now with this spray it’s so easy and makes my hair feel good too.
