My hair is super frizzy and poofy so I always look for something that can help with that by smoothing my hair. This shampoo doesn't weight down my hair and leaves my hair feeling sleek and silky. It also doesn't irritate my scalp or leave my scalp feeling dry.
I tested out this shampoo 4 times since I received it and in my opinion it’s okay. The fragrance is amazing, it defiantly smooths and adds shine after blowdrying but it doesn’t really help contain my frizz. I live in Florida so the humidity is intense and I noticed after a few hours being out, my frizz would come out. I also tried it with my other frizz taming products and that’s when I noticed a huge difference in managing my frizz.
This Davines smoothing shampoo is exactly what i needed. My hair has been fried for so long, it doesn’t even help if i moisturize it with oils, but this shampoo has helped tremendously. I definately recommend it!

I have thick, frizz-prone hair and this shampoo made a noticeable difference after just a few washes. My hair feels smoother, softer, and way less “puffy” without feeling heavy or stripped. The scent is also really clean and luxurious, like an expensive salon without the headache-inducing perfume overload some brands love to inflict on humanity. A little goes a long way too, which helps justify the price. Definitely one of the better shampoos I’ve tried for taming frizz while still keeping my hair healthy-looking.
Updated formula with Apple vs. olive oil. Does not smooth my hair as effectively as the old formula…back on the hunt for shampoo and conditioner for my 2C hair.
Love this so much!! It made my hair hydrated but voluminous and the smell is incredible.
So happy I had a chance to try this out! It worked really well with my curly hair that is on the thick side. When I used this I noticed that in my hair there was less frizz and it was more hydrated and what it was originally.
I loved this shampoo. It smells great, it’s not overwhelming. I like how clean my hair felt and it also felt like it made my hair so hydrated. It gave the shine I was looking for! I would definitely recommend
