Extra-Body Sculpting Mousse for Volumizing Fine Hair

Great product if you are looking for some volume. I'm in perimenopause and lost some hair a few months ago and it definitely gives me some volume with my fine hair. Would recommend.

I don’t feel like this did anything to my hair except make it crispy and flat. I used less than a golf ball amount, and I could feel it in my hair whenever I touched it after my hair was dry. I don’t see how this would help anyone with fine hair. The only thing I liked was the texture of the mousse.

I have fine, menopausal hair that can be either straight or naturally wavy depending on how I style it, and this Paul Mitchell Extra Body Sculpting Mousse has been fantastic. It's one of the few volumizing products I've found that works beautifully no matter how I wear my hair. When I blow dry my hair straight, it gives me noticeable volume without making my hair feel stiff, sticky, or weighed down. My style stayed full and bouncy all day. When I let my hair air dry, it enhances my natural waves and curls while adding body and helping them hold their shape without feeling crunchy and gave enough volume at the top so I didn't have a flat top! No matter how I style my hair, this foam provides long-lasting volume and excellent hold while still leaving my hair soft and touchable. If you have fine, menopausal hair that's looking for more fullness and lasting style, I highly recommend giving this product a try.

I’ve been really impressed with this mousse! I mainly use it before styling with my Dyson Airwrap, and it gives my curls noticeably better hold without making my hair feel crunchy or sticky. My curls last so much longer, even in humidity. On the days I wear my hair straight, I apply it to the side that needs a little extra help after switching from a side part to a middle part (iykyk 😂). It gives that side the extra volume and lift it needs so my hair looks much more balanced. It also doesn’t weigh my hair down or leave any residue. Definitely a product I’ll keep repurchasing!

This is a great way to add volume to your hair when styling. It provides flexible hold, so your hair doesn't feel or look like you have a ton of product in it. Easy to apply on your wet hair and style as usual.

Works well. Gave great volume. Did make hair a little greasy and weighed down after a few days. Smells great.

I love the way this mousse feels and smells. It’s definitely flexible and soft and holds the bounce without crisping up!

Maybe I used too much product for how thin my hair is, but it can still give the cast (which can be broken) but it did make my feel like my hair was thinner than other products used. It did however help with flyaways at the root of the hair, so for that sleekness look, I gave it a 3/5. I also have curly hair, so this may be for thin straight hair.

My hair is middle-aged stubborn - half coarse/wavy white, other half brown and stick straight. Salt and pepper hair is not fun, or easy to style. This Paul Mitchell product was a great option. It was easy to use and didn't have an overpowering scent. Dispensing was easy, too. Once it was on my hair, it stayed put. I received a sample of this product to try, but I would buy it!

I have fine, thin shoulder length hair and am always looking for something that will hep give me volume and not weigh my hair down. This is a pretty good product. I had the unique experience of trying this in both my dry desert climate and while I was traveling in pretty humid, sometimes rainy conditions. I was surprised how well it work in the humidity - my hair was a little more frizzy but to be fair I am not used to the humidy so it took a couple of days to figure out the right routine and amount of products house. Regardless I did get volume on all occasions. My only "complaint" is you have to be very very mindful of how much you are using. If I used just a bit too much my hair felt stiff and gross. I found that a little goes a long way with this mousse. It can have the tendency to build up easy which is why I didn't give 5 stars.. I would prefer something that is a little more light weight but it is much better than a lot I have tried and maybe there is nothing out there that will create this volume without leaving behind some grit and build up.
