CatchFree Omega, 60 Softgels

This is probably the best vegan source of Omega 3 & 6 you can buy. I've compared ingredients to one of the most premium brands I've ever purchased and they are identical. Its the only one that provides Omegas from both Algal Oil and Ahiflower + it includes D3 with K2 (for better absorption) and even vit E. Offering EPA/DHA + ALA/SDA/GLA. Also no GMO. The packaging is recycled paper + tinted glass and the gel capsules are also vegan. No nasty fishy aftertaste either. Honestly I think the product and company is underrated for what it delivers.

What an incredible formula as stated by several other reviews. Sadly, there is some carrageenan in the capsule. I started watching for this when I found that quite a few "vegan" gel caps are made with it. Its nearly impossible to find any vegan oil-based supplement that does not have carrageenan in its "gel cap." Carrageenan has been implicated in gut dysbiosis and thinning of the gut mucous membranes -- this combination can lead to inflammatory bowel disease, especially in "sensitive" individuals. (There is ongoing work to determine what makes some individuals more susceptible.) You can read all about it on PubMed. The vegan supplements industry really needs to address this and demonstrate a solution. Either clarifying that their form of carrageenan is harmless in this regard or by finding a safer alternative. ++cj

No complaints! I didn’t want fish oil for omegas due to a lifestyle style of cruelty free living and these definitely had the highest amount of omegas compared to other vegan ones. Zero taste or anything gross. Would recommend.

Used this in combination with peak fish oils of same brand and other supplements and diet changes. Found triglycerides and cholesterol levels lowered significantly back to normal levels after 2 weeks. So don’t know how much exactly it contributed to success in lowering levels, but think it helped. Like how ingredients include vit D + K2 as well.

I used to take fish oil to get my omegas, but this is a great alternatives. You don't get the fish burps either!

It took me some time to find these good-quality omega supplements, and which are suitable for vegetarians. I find the soft gel easier to swallow.

I was really happy to find out that Wiley's are now doing vegetarian omegas - these seem to be good quality and don't taste fishy!
