We finally made the switch to REAL vitamin C and not the synthetic kind. We have tried this brand and some others and so far have fought off two colds within a day or so... we also use zinc and D & K combo. The children take this and say it's easy enough to swallow. Happy!
I have used this product for long time and I consider it one of the most important supplements on my daily routine. The smell and taste is very good, mostly taste like black pepper. However, the pills are vey large for those who can swallow them.
I really like that this is vitamin c from a whole food source as opposed to ascorbic acid which is far inferior. They're nice small capsules but you do need to take a lot of them to get a good dose.

Been dealing with skin cancer. Lots of studies show that a high vitamin C diet (and topical application of C with DMSO) is beneficial for healing wounds specifically and cancer generally. I've been trying to get my C from lots of fruit and veggies but sometimes I just don't feel up to it. It's important, has been verified scientifically, that Vitamin C comes ftom whole, natural foods. So even though you're getting a lower dose from foods, they are much better absorbed and utilized by the body. Ascorbic acid is good as a food preservative and for topical use but isn't a good substitute for whole foods I really liked this product. Recently with sick with some winter virus, I took one of these and noticed in about 15 minutes that my throat and sinuses felt much, much better. It's out of stock now so I ordered a different one made with only acerola, but I'll order this again if and when it's back in stock. Also, no discomfort in the stomach when taking these without food.

I like the bottle, it was covered. but the taste is a bit strange. I don't feel that it's sour, but I do feel it's crazy hot! like so much black pepper in there..
