Calcium Citrate & Vitamin D3, 250 Tablets

This is one of the few brands with quite high amount of calcium citrate in a tablet. My mom needs to take calcium citrate as she got bloated with calcium carbonate. With this, she has to take 3 tablets to be sufficient, which is better than others with lower amount of calcium citrate. We love the combination with vitamin D3, so we can be sure calcium can get absorbed well. The ingredients also do not contain titanium dioxide. The packaging is also quite large, so we don't have to buy the new bottle all the time.

This Swanson Brand Calcium Citrate & Vitamin D supplement is of very good quality. I take the dosage suggeted, and the pills are fairly easy to swallow...just make sure you are using plenty of water to drink!

I picked this because of the bioavailability of calcium citrate and it comes with vitamin D3 too. I haven't taken it long enough to determine effects but generally it should be okay, reasonable price.
