Careful with melatonin and use it only if you are really tired but cant get enough from sleep. For me, it works perfect and benefits are huge, but I learned how to use it. melatonin is ingredient that our body produces already but sometimes I really need help as I am working night shifts sometimes. 1 mg is really enough so this size is perfect for me.

If you don't want to cycle a higher dose of melatonin, the 1mg is a perfect dose for long-term use; you can split the dose in half and reduce ti .5mg when your circadian rhythm is in sync.

Half of this tablet works great for me! I take after several nights of not sleeping well, to get back in to rhythm. I fall asleep fast, and if I wake during the night, I fall back to sleep easily.

This is my first time using melatonin to help with my sleep pattern. I try the 1 mg. The smallest dosage. It doesn’t give me any effect. Hahaha. Then I tried take 3 pills and it start giving a sleepy effect. Will up date after a bottle. Will 3 mg still have a kick?

don't go beyond 1 mg of melatonin and some doctors prefer 0.5mg of melatonin, that dose is effective and well tolerated( no sluggishness or tiredness)
