I can't have soy and really missed Japanese ponzu sauce so I was excited to try this. While it doesn't taste much like ponzu, it does have a nice zestiness that works well with Japanese style dishes. I wished it tasted more like ponzu but that's super hard to do without using soy sauce so in the meantime, this will do!
Both as marinade with chicken and beef, but also great as is without cooking as an extra taste in wok dishes. Hope soon is back on stock so I can reorder.

This stuff is so good! Has a sweetness to it like regular coconut aminos but then a nice kick at the end from the cayenne. Highly recommend this sauce! I will definitely be ordering this again and again. My only complaint about aminos is that I wish it was a little thicker. I have managed to use arrowroot starch (paleo) to thicken it before and it worked out great so if you’re someone who likes a thicker sauce like me then know that that’s always an option.
