Albion®, Magnesium & Calcium with Vitamins D3 & K2, 90 Capsules

Great quality supplement for constipation and muscle cramps too. Easy to swallow capsule n no after taste. Good 2:1 reverse ratio of mag:cal, difficult to get such supplements. I like it that it has D3 n K2 too. And the K2 is in MK7 form which is what I am looking for!! Have just reordered another 3 bottles as there's an ongoing 30% discount!!

Lets start with the positives. I appreciate the comprehensive blend of essential nutrients in this product. With vitamin D3, calcium, magnesium, and vitamin K2, it covers a wide range of crucial elements for bone health and overall well-being. The inclusion of Albion's TRAACS chelated minerals is also a reassuring sign of quality, However, my skepticism arises from the relatively low doses of calcium and magnesium compared to the recommended daily values. While I understand that the chelated forms may enhance absorption, I'm not entirely convinced that the amounts provided in each serving are sufficient to meet my body's needs, especially considering that I lead an active lifestyle.

D3 is fat soluble, meaning it is stored in large soft tissue organs (it has nothing to do with taking it with fat or oil!). Therefore, unless directed by a doctor, do not take more than 100% of the daily allowance. That said, most people who live in cloudy climates are sorely lacking in D3. Equally important, if you do not get enough K2 and Calcium, your body will not synthesise or absorb the D3. As most people do not get enough of all three, this high quality supplement provides all three and you will feel a noticeable difference. A bonus is the magnesium added, which is a small amount and will not cause stomach upset or diarrhoea. The capsule is VERY easy to swallow, and it could be added to a beverage if necessary.
