I didn’t realize for a while that the “serving size” that gets you to 1000 mgs is actually two tablets, so each tablet is 500 mgs. There isn’t anything wrong with that, I guess, but I’d prefer if the bottle was labeled as 500 mgs rather than 1000. Under the same logic, they could have labeled this as 2000 mgs and made the serving size four pills. And that’s just silly. For some reason, it is extremely hard to find ascorbic acid formulated with at least the same amount of bioflavanoids (in other words: a vitamin C complex that emulates how it occurs in nature), so this formulation is fantastic (and the price is right too), so please don't ever discontinue it! Now Foods used to carry somesuch, also in pill form, but it was discontinued a few years ago.

The benefit of this supplement is that it contains the vitamin C complex with bioflavonoids, not just isolated ascorbic acid, so it's much better for you than the standard vitamin C supplements. You can snap the tablets in half for a smaller dose. Recommended.

I'm hoping this will help with adrenal and stress issues. I'm also taking Potassium to help recharge the adrenals. Good large size and decent price.

The capsules are easy to swallow and taste pretty decent. You can break the tablets in half if you need a smaller dose. It's great that this supplement offers more than just regular vitamin C; with added bioflavonoids, it’s like a powerhouse for my immune system and skin health.
