Health benefits of red palm oil include reduced risk of arterial thrombosis and/or atherosclerosis, inhibition of endogenous cholesterol biosynthesis, platelet aggregation, reduction of oxidative stress and lowering blood pressure. Red palm oil contains large amounts of provitamin A (carotenoids) and vitamin E. It is also rich in vitamin K, magnesium, and coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone)

This is a top quality product. It is a rich source of tocotrienols, beta carotene, squalane and Q10. All you need is a teaspoon a day to cover all your vit A and E needs, plus you can use it on your skin. It tastes quite neutral and is like a soft spread at room temperature.

I have tried other Palm Oil but the taste is not comparable. I really like the taste of this hard to explain, what you would think a Palm Oil for a Palm Tree would taste like really. Very bright red and it is in a glass jar which I like. It is good in coffee in the morning and on top of vegetables after they are cooked. The taste is very distinct and I can not wait to try it in an African Okra Peanut and Pepper Stew! As an added bonus has 20% of the US Recommend Allowances of both Vit A and E.

First, it is very hard to find ethical palm oil, so thank you Pure Indian Foods! I'd been buying Nutiva's red palm oil until suddenly no one carried it anymore. So glad to find one of comparable quality! Red palm oil is FANTASTIC for cooking eggs, by the way...tastes amazing! It is definitely not neutral flavored, though, so it won't be your go-to oil for EVERYTHING...but savory dishes? YUM.

I enjoy this Red Palm Oil when sauteeing whitefishes, as it has somewhat of a buttery taste when you don't necessarily want to use dairy. It pairs nicely with turmeric-cumin-coriander type spices. And, I love all of the Pure Indian Foods products I have used; appreciate the pureness & quality, along with the family heritage of the business.

Years ago I started giving our little dog red palm oil because I read that it is good for eyes and sight. Over the years I have purchased a few brands that she refused to eat. I tasted them and didn't blame her for not wanting to eat them. This one has an extremely mild flavor and it is derived from the red palm fruit, which, as I understand, is the most beneficial. Most importantly, Lola love it!

This is a quality oil at a reasonable price. 375ml should last a decent amount of time as well. I've never had red palm oil before and was suggested as part of a new food program I'm on - but it tastes delicious, even by itself as a spoonful. Just be sure to stir it first! I like that it's only one ingredient and non-GMO. I'll definitely be a repeat buyer!

Not grainy, smooth texture. Bought from here because I wanted glass instead of plastic. Smaller jar for more money than local store but had changed to plastic jar. Glad I ordered. Wondering if glass helps texture integrity or if other batches were just different, more coarse rendering from seasonal crop.

Great taste, works well on toast or in casseroles. I have used it in a savory dish and a sweet application so far. Hope to try it in baking next, both because I am curious about how the color will turn out and whether the taste will be detectable. The orange color does stain but washed off of plates (maybe avoid getting on towels; not sure about trying to use it as skin care for the color reasons although I know that the beta carotene is of health benefit).
