My biggest concern was that I would taste/smell fishy. I DO NOT LIKE FISH! I am happy to report that there is not issue with that. I am 54 years old and have high cholesterol & dry eyes. I haven't been taking it long enough to see much change yet but so far, so good!
My optometrist recommended I take 3,000 mg of Omega 3 Fish Oil a day for MGD. I have also noticed this has improved my mood and pain in joints. I am usually achy from osteoarthritis this time of year. Great quality supplement and I only need to take 3 a day as recommended by my doctor. The last fish oil I was taking was only 1,000 mg per 3 pills meaning I would have had to take up to 9 pills a day. I have not noticed any stomach upset from taking this either.
old update i have used it before, this particular brand of omega 3 everyone should take, you will see changes in health in sleep, cholestrol levels,in hair ,in skin and weight n much more new update on 6th december 2024:- so initially taking it for 5 or 6 months was all fine ,results were great, for example i have miss beats issue so taking this caused miss beats issue less noticible and helped me to gain weight and maintaing hair nutrition but on the other side after continuously taking it every single day after 6 months i started to feel its negative affect on my kidneys, i will have slow urine flow but if i dont take it il have perfectly normal urine flow. So I dont know if anyone is facing this issue with this omega 3 brand with kidneys but i am definitely 100% sure as i noticed a pattern every time i take it. May be if someone notices the same issue please give a thumsup on my comment in that way il know its not just me who is facing this with this particular supplement brand.
The most common complaint of fish oil supplements is experiencing fishy burp-back. That doesn't not happen with this product
This brand was recommended by my eye doctor. It doesn’t taste bad at all. I sometimes take it at lunch or with dinner. I do believe fish oil is an important supplement to take daily and Barlean’s is a reputable, quality brand. I’ve had no stomach issues with it and I have a sensitive system.

I spend hours looking for an omega 3 supplement with a good ratio of EPA to DHA that didn't have a fishy taste or was made with tilapia, since I'm allergic. I finally found one! Confirmed no fishy taste. Also it very nice you only need to take 1, pills are very large though
This brand is excellent quality. We used to use the liquid version of this, but have now switched over to this capsule. It is pretty large, so maybe choose the liquid if you have trouble swallowing very large capsules.
