I just love these. They are so convenient to make, so savory, just delicious and so versatile in terms of what part of the day you can fit them into, what type of meal, etc. I do wish they came in one serving per pack so I didn’t have to measure it out, but I’m assuming it’s to save packaging?
Nice, quick and easy to use option when you want something warm and savory. The flavor is light but pleasant, and the seaweed adds a little extra texture and umami. It’s not as rich as restaurant miso soup, but for something instant, it does the job as a miso soup base. Overall, a handy item to keep in the pantry — not amazing, but reliable and satisfying enough.
I have been buying from this company for a long time. Ages. It’s a great price for how much is included. You can expect top tier quality ingredients in this drink. I am a dedicated miso sipper. It’s got vitamins. It’s got minerals. It’s got electrolytes. It’s less of a soup and more of a lifestyle. Take a bunch of these to burning man and in the middle of the night when you need a salty cup of comfort but can’t bring yourself to chew anything, miso is the answer. I love these miso soup packets! They are perfect for a quick and healthy meal or snack. The seaweed adds a nice touch, and the broth is flavorful without being too salty. It has a more interesting taste than "Golden Vegetable" soup thanks to the wakame seaweed in it. But I prefer the actual Wakame leaves, as they are present in the Japanese Restaurant style soup by E&S. I will use it up, and the price value is good, but won't repurchase it. I like the Japanese Restaurant style soup more. It is more expensive but worth the price

Sometimes we even take it with us on trips because it’s so easy to prepare. Just add hot water, stir, and it’s ready in a minute. The first thing we really like is the taste. It’s comforting, savory and feels homemade despite being instant. The seaweed adds a nice texture and a bit of that authentic Japanese flavor. It’s not too salty, which is important for us. It feels like a light and balanced option that supports health, especially when you want something warm but not heavy. The quality is surprisingly good for an instant product. The powder dissolves well, and the seaweed pieces rehydrate nicely. We also appreciate the portion size — each envelope is just right for a cup, not too much, not too little. The overall box size with 4 envelopes is convenient, although sometimes we wish there were more packets inside because they disappear quickly in our house. As for downsides, the main one is the size of the package — four envelopes don’t last long for a whole family. Also, if someone prefers a very rich or strong miso flavor, this one is on the milder side. But for us, that’s actually part of its charm.
I'm so glad to have discovered these - they make a cup of great tasting miso, the powder dissolves easily in hot water and I have re-ordered them. Love their ingredient list too - they don't contain all the preservatives and additives that are in lots of other brands.
