C 500 + Rose Hips & Bioflavonoids, 100 Tablets

This is an interesting formula. If you are into sustained release Vitamin C with co-factors, this is a good one to try. I contacted the manufacturers regarding the duration of their sustained release formula. Their response was that half the dose, in this case 250mg is released straight away, and the remainder is released slowly over 12 hours. So you get a decent amount immediately within the SVCT transporter limits, and the rest more gradually ensuring optimum absorption of the full 500mg and a steady supply throughout the day.

This is one of the best brands of vitamin C I've tried. If taken regularly, it really helps me with the immune response, does not upset the stomach, good for the skin since vitamin C is an antioxidant. No unpleasant aftertaste or unpleasant smell.

Take some of these all the time as I need to boost my vitamin C level with a low potency tablet free of allergenic ingredients. I can handle corn-derived ascorbic acid, but not cornstarch or other corn-derived ingredients or fillers. Nice tiny easy to swallow tablets, with no added active ingredients other than rose hips and citrus bioflavonoids. Other ingredients to enhance the effectiveness that I am allergic to are hard to avoid, like grapeseed extract.

After taking 1 a day for a couple months, I think they are effective. I judge it by whether I catch colds. No colds in a few years! I had to finish another brand before starting these, and have taken these for 2 months without getting sick. Also their shape and outer surface are PERFECT for easy swallowing!

Rose hip helps the absorption process of vitamin C. Gentle on your digestive system and great for the immune system.

good to boost immunity especially when there are bugs going around. the tablet is not hard to swallow even for my kids (teens). taking 500mg daily seems to be effective, and i feel it's less of an overkill compared to 1000mg every day.

Happy to find this formula. Good value for money, especially when there is a sale. I like that is is a lower dose vitamin C because we take other multivitamins as well. And I can always take two tablets when extra immunity boost is needed. Size is small enough to swallow easily. Will purchase again.

I am happy with this product and I am not buying it for the first time. I like that it contains bioflavonoids and rose hips, it is natural.
