Good value pomegranate extract, better priced than Life Extension
I chose this pomegranate extract mainly for gut and microbiome support, particularly because pomegranate polyphenols are often used to support beneficial bacteria like Akkermansia. This Solaray version provides a clear 40% ellagic acid standardization and is noticeably cheaper than the Life Extension equivalent, which made it an easy choice for me. The quality seems good. The capsules are easy to swallow and I haven’t experienced any digestive discomfort. It fits well into my daily routine and feels like a straightforward, well-formulated product without unnecessary fillers. Too early to comment on long-term results, but based on ingredient quality, tolerability, and value for money, I’m happy with it so far and would repurchase. I will update my review once I’ve remeasured my Akkermansia population.
