This Nutricost Magnesium L-threonate (AKA Magtein) is my repeat choice in a magnesium supplement. I have decided after reading a number of online alternative health sources that it's important to supplement with magnesium. Magtein seems to me to be the supreme form of magnesium and is therefore more expensive than the other forms. I did a lot of dosage amount per capsule, quantity of capsules per bottle, and cost comparison amongst Magtein suppliers. I concluded that this Nutricost choice provided the best quality and bang-for-the-buck. I take it every night at bedtime and I think it benefits my sleep by helping me to drift off quickly, but I also take low dose Melatonin. I also like the fact that this supplement is manufactured in the U.S. It’s a repeat-buy for me!

Magnesium L-threonate is considered one of the best-absorbed forms of magnesium. I take several supplements, so it's hard to judge the effects of this one alone, but I feel good overall and I'm happy with the quality. Magnesium is an important mineral, and if you decide to supplement it, I think it's worth choosing a highly bioavailable form. I will definitely order it again.
