Bought this as a natural source of iodine as our body needs both iodine and iodide (I have potassium iodide powder that I will be making into a solution and then using drops to measure daily dose) . This way is easier to control dose than using the preformed Iodoral® tablets which I'd have to cut into 6 equal parts (not easy).
