Pregnenolone, 60 Vegetable Capsules

I take 100 mg /day in divided doses of Emerald Laboratories, Pregnenolone, 50 mg, plus 400 mg of pure micronized pregnenolone in divided doses, following the protocol tested by the VA to improve allopregnenolone, and concentration, and to reduce pain and inflammation. I notice a small improvement, taken in the capsule. I also like to open the cap and take part of it under my tongue, which I feel quickly. I hope for great things long term. So far I've noticed a subtle improvement. I hope it's also helping bone health.

Pregnenolone is the master hormone, you need this to make all the other downstream hormones like testosterone, progesterone, etc. I took this for a few months, I did not notice anything positive. But I only took 1 capsule per day. If one has a candida issue, candida can interfere with the HPA axis (hypothalamus/pituitary) and can convert all hormones including prenenolone to cortisol. EEK! I have a candida issue, that is most likely a factor in why I did not notice anything positive. I did start to get some slight excess flab around my waist after being on it for a few months. I stopped taking it, because I started to suspect that it was partially converting to cortisol. After a few weeks of not taking it, slight excess flab is going away. I was taking it, hoping to increase progesterone levels. On the flip side, someone I know who was most likely dealing with peri-menopause issues, started taking this 2 caps a day and it restored her energy. This was a supplement she could not run out of. Same supplement. Two completely different experiences. That is why YMMV.

its not a bad product but i recently discovered brands like nutricost and seems like many others are just dropshipping their products from china in large quantities and selling them on platforms like iherb creating the illusion of an american made products,bit disappointing

I had to start with half a capsule to avoid feeling overstimulated. It would be great if they offer a lower dose option.

First time trying pregnenolone after reading Ray Peat. It is difficult to say it had results, but it is easy to take, very well tolerated and as a result fully recommended.

i love that the brand is not using fillers and also that the pregnenolon is micronized . normally we cant absorb pregnenolon very well
