C-1000, 30 Veg Capsules

I’ve been taking NOW C-1000 for a few months, and it’s one of the best vitamin C supplements I’ve tried. The capsules are easy to swallow, and I like that it includes 100 mg of bioflavonoids for better absorption. I’ve noticed improved immunity and faster recovery during cold season. Vitamin C may help lower uric acid levels, as studies show it can reduce serum uric acid concentrations. My young sons happen to have high uric acid level at 7.4 (probably genetic). I experimented by giving them a combination of Tart cherry + quercetin + vitamin C to help lower their uric acid without medication. Tart Cherry & Quercetin works as a xanthine oxidase inhibitor (similar to allopurinol). Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) acts as a Uricosuric Agent (increase excretion of uric acid in the urine). Their levels drop from 7.4 to 6.3.

This size bottle of Now is of quality potency that will last & last with only one a day. Also, so good for the stomach, as an antioxidant, and effective as an immunity booster. etc. Use daily as our bodies need Vit. C. Reason, as a water-soluble vitamin, it's not stored by the body, meaning excess amounts are excreted, requiring consistent daily intake. Good idea to store lots of it. Prob. the most important.

Now’s food quality, ingredients is always trustful the size and quantity in mg is good. Good for immunity, as antioxidant. No taste, good potency, effect. I like that it contains bioflavonoids besides the large quantity of ascorbic acid. The large container means there are enough capsules for the whole family during flue season. Plastic crested gecko for reference.
