Works extremely well. It doesn't knock you out like prescription pills like ambien or lunesta, but it definitely puts you into "sleep mode". I absolutely recommend for those of you who get tired, feel like sleeping, but once you lie down in bed your mind starts wandering and you end up thinking about things and can't sleep, which kind of spirals into a further non-sleep cycle. This just relaxes you and allows you to fall asleep naturally. No grogginess the next day. I recommend taking about 20 minutes before you plan on going to sleep.

I bought Source Naturals Melatonin 5mg because I had trouble getting to sleep. This stuff works, half a tab is enough to get you to sleep but the first night it kept me awake. It wasn't unpleasant, I was just kind of conscious and asleep at the same time. The next night and subsequent nights after that I was completely knocked out until dawn. Unusual for me. I think it is a good idea to take it for several nights and then the circadian rhythm becomes harmonious again. I'm taking it with me overseas in a week's time so I can see how it works with jet lag. It is far more potent than valerian, passiflora or any herb I have taken for insomnia. I felt a little drowsy at first in the morning but that was gone within the first half hour of getting out of bed. I would recommend this product to anyone who has problems getting off to sleep.

I cannot go without this any more! This specific brand was recommended by my GP in Australia as what he personally uses. I was hesitant as to its efficacy, but willing to try anything. So glad I did! I have trouble getting to sleep and also waking up in the night wide awake and unable to get back to sleep. Partly due to having ADHD and my natural melatonin being delayed. These have changed everything!! I make sure to time them well, an hour before bedtime, and I get a full, deep night's sleep. Really incredible. Will continue to buy these regularly, so thankful!

I have struggled with insomnia for years. This melatonin has helped me get a full nights sleep for the first time in a long time. I often am not able to sleep the night through, whether it is restless leg or racing thoughts, i wake up after 60-90 minutes. These a re helping me get 6-7 hours of sleep nightly.

This works well for me when I needed it to help me to sleep. No side effects.

This is my favourite melatonin. I’ve tried other brands but I keep going back to this one. The price is great for how many tablets you get in a bottle, and it works so well for me.

I am a postmenopausal woman who has insomnia. I am taking this with Valerian Extract Forte and Calcium Magnesium. I can have reasonably good sleep and rest. I prefer NightRest as it does not give me any groggy feelings the next day.

When I travel to different time zone and eat / drink a huge amount of caffeine, I would need this supplement occasionally. Works like magic and didn't induce any symptoms the next day. Fast to fall asleep with this.
