DM, 28 Extended Release Tablets

I recently tried Mucinex DM, and I’m so glad I did! This product has been a lifesaver during cold and flu season. The combination of dextromethorphan and guaifenesin really works wonders — it helps clear out mucus while also suppressing my cough. I’ve noticed a significant reduction in both congestion and coughing fits, which allowed me to rest better and get back to feeling like myself sooner. What I really appreciate is how effective it is without making me feel groggy or overly drowsy, unlike some other cold medications. It’s easy to take, and the relief lasts for hours. If you’re dealing with a stubborn cough or chest congestion, Mucinex DM is definitely worth trying — it’s become my go-to for respiratory relief!

Great quality product I bought for neuro-inflammatory problems caused by LC rather than a cough. Works great, really helps with sound sensitivity and brain fog.

The extended release formula of DXM doesn't make it suitable for OTC NMDA antagonism in my experience, – as I anticipated when ordering this... The expectorant is as expected. The dosage is high enough to reach a serum concentration that actually provides therapeutic value. Small pill, massive dosage, good ROI. The pills taste absolutely horrendous when chewed, which I guess is the expectorant. The weird pungent bitter taste lingers for over 10 minutes despite doing everything in my power to clean out my mouth. The smell is a toned down version of the bitter taste, totally acceptable. Not comparable to the bitter atrocity when accidentally biting the pill. Overall: perfect product to save for when I get sick, but not suited for NMDA antagonism.

I appreciate being able to order Mucinex from iHerb, as I do not live in the US and it is not available in my country. I use it daily.

I typically use it at the first sign of symptoms (e.g. itchy throat, runny nose, slight cough, sneezing that’s not allergy related, etc). It’s helped stop the symptoms from getting worse. Easy to use since it’s every 12 hours and no drowsiness.

First, this is priced much better here than what I would typically find at the grocery store. I don't really know if it did anything, though. I had bronchitis for a couple months, which was terrible, and I tried using this to clear it up, but I didn't really notice it doing anything other than possibly making me cough more. I thought taking a nasal decongestant and drinking hot tea had more noticeable results.

and it really helped clear my chest and ease my breathing. I felt much better within a couple of days. I was also pleasantly surprised how quickly it arrived in Croatia,faster than expected. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with cold or flu symptoms!

Literally I hate coughing my lungs out and this helps me combat that as well getting rid of the phlegm. The size of the pill is big but you get used to it.
