Cats need taurine as it is essential to a healthy heart. Unfortunately, they won't get enough if they are mainly fed with canned food or dried food instead of fresh meat and organs. This is exactly my case as my cat doesn't like raw diet. I purchased this and mixed the powder in my cat's canned food. My cat has no problem eating it so far!
