After my last endoscopy, my new doctor changed an antacid prescription that I was taking for a much stronger one which has scary side effects. I try to take products like this more frequently than the prescribed meds and according to my last endoscopy results, the natural antacids seem to be working well..
I have tried countless natural and not-so-natural products to stop reflux and irritation of the esophagus, but ended up with esophagitis anyway. Decided to try this alginate product and I am VERY happy with it so far! Super mild vanilla flavor and slightly sweet. The texture is incredibly soothing and I only needed to take one after eating - and that was it, I felt great! It continues to offer amazing benefits, soothing the mouth, throat, and esophagus. Good quality and well made with exceptional ingredients.
Although the vanilla flavor is much better than the mint one, unfortunately, it upsets my stomach, and it leaves a bad aftertaste in both my mouth and stomach for a long time. On the one hand, it settles the stomach, but the taste upsets it.
I have been talking this regularly daily for over a year after lunch and it really works to neutralize stomach acid, great product!
Its hard to tell how well its working compared to the gel type forms but it tastes fine w/o any burning. It does stick to my teeth. Don't chew gum to increase your saliva while you chew this, it will dissolve the gum.
Good chewable reflux raft but as other reviews says, it sticks to the teeth more than other brands. Does not bother me though. Overall still good
