Echinacea & Goldenseal Root, 500 mg, 240 Capsules

Purchased just to have around to fight off any viral baddies. I'm sort of making a little medical stash of good things to have on hand. Trying to be a little smarter and it doesn't hurt being at least a little prepared. I've used this already and it seems alright. *Some thoughts on the brand: I would like to see more organic products as well as info on the extraction process/method/solvents being used which would be a very nice thing for the consumer to know because it shines a light on the quality of the product. The brand clearly aims for affordability but typically corners need to be cut somewhere for that to happen, and a product of not so high quality is a possibility here. So just something to keep in mind :) The fillers in most of their products are also a bit of a downer, and could do without. "a product of not so high quality is a possibility here." Do what you will with that information... but that is a red flag in my book, and I sadly have to take another star off for that.

This was my first time purchasing Nutricost brand. I was glad I did. It offers great value in 240 capsules in 500mg serving size. The ingredients are quality and are 3rd party verified.

Second purchase of this echinacea and goldenseal root mix from Nutricost. Take this every morning to help ward off various flu like conditions. the ingredients are good for daily intake. the goldenseal is root powder. For acute needs may switch to echinacea tincture in liquid formula.

I've heard mixed things about Goldenseal but it came as a convenient combo anyway. Big capsule count which is always good and dosage was good value for money
