I wanted to really like this...but in actuality it was just average. I add cacao daily to a breakfast smoothie. There's so many Cacao brands out there and very few of super high quality and taste. I'd prefer if they tested their products for heavy metals like Cadmium or issues like Mold...and I'd like one with a really brilliant taste. Still hunting...

It seems like a lot of natural cocoas have a unpleasant sour fermented flavor. I like a deep rich cocoa but i like Sunwarrior and the price of cocoa locally has doubled in a short time. My impression is this is a good quality cocoa. It's not anything like Valhrona level depth snd richness but it's good. The color is rather light for natural cocoa but the flavor is there. I made a couple cakes with it and it was very pleasant and I considered ordering another one but it's definitely not my favorite. But I tried it as hot cocoa with just sugar and milk and it's very rich and deep but it definitely has a hint of that unpleasant natural foods supplement cacao sourness I really don't like. So maybe I won't use it for straight cocoa but if you added some spices or other balancing flavors or orange, i think it could still work. I definitely appreciate it is organic and I think Sunwarrior probably sources good ingredients. I would consider getting it again but want to try something else. The price is also good in comparison, so it's not as sad as getting really unpleasant sour raw cocoa. Depends on taste but I think this is a cocoa that could satisfy most people if they want organic good quality cocoa that is well sourced and are not expecting top gourmet level flavors.

I take this because I researched the long term benefits of cacao on the skin. It helps keep our elasticity and makes our skin glow. Theres many other benefits as well including mood and heart health. So I mix a teaspoon in with my coffee daily without fail with a quarter teaspoon of maca root powder to add more magic into it.

used to consume cacao powder and having beem trying different brands from iHerb. haven't gotten any products from this brand before and just think of giving it a try especially its design of package looks very grand and nice

Wow, such a delicious taste of cocoa! It’s light and less bitter than many others. The consistency is amazing – it dissolves well in warm boiled water and tastes fantastic together with the coconut powder from the same brand. I drink it unsweetened and really enjoy the pure flavor. It also has a long shelf life, and I appreciate that it comes from a well-recognized brand with a strong reputation. Pure product quality!
