This product was recommended by my doctor as one of the best options for calcium supplementation (typically for osteoporosis/osteopenia). She feels it is superior to some of the gummy products out there that initially might seem like better options. When ingredients are compared, this one seems to offer the best amount of calcium with some of the fewest yucky additives. This is the best way for me to take calcium. I avoid large calcium pills. These chews are so good. One after breakfast or lunch and one after dinner is all you need daily. They remind me of a soft, chewy tootsie roll. One chew is 650 mg with D and K for absorption, only 1 g of sugar with no corn syrup or added dyes and each is individually wrapped for safety.
