DLPA, 500 mg, 100 Vegetable Capsules

Solgar's DLPA is of excellent quality judging by its effects, I take 1 in the morning and it keeps me focused and clear-headed for about 8-10 hours. I think is mildly stimulant as it is supposed to increase the level of dopamine in the brain. Very effective and predictable effect, it helps you focus but just take it when you have to work or you know you are going to be busy, otherwise it can make you a little anxious.

I typically buy this locally, but iHerb had a deal. This product seemed to work just as well as my usual product from the Vitamin Shoppe. I had no problems with quality, absorption, or any change to my energy levels. I use it to help with energy due to adrenal fatigue. The bottle size seemed in proportion to the cost. If I can’t get my brand locally I would purchase this again.

These work for sure, for me at least. I encounter a fair bit of daily discomforts ranging from aches to nausea and dull moods due to endurance sports, but since supplementing with these once in the morning, afternoon and night, I’m in a much more comfortable zone while recovering. I’ve found even more pleasure when I stack these with St. John’s wort and 5htp. I realise my body isn’t as well supplied with the ingredients to handle physical stress response as my younger version, and supplementation is needed. I do take GABA as well, as it helps take away the jitters I get after a hard exercise.

I forgot how stimulating Phenylalanine is. It gives me a short lived intense energy rush. It's too stimulating for me, but I am glad I have it on hand if I need it (when I had bad chronic fatigue, it helped me get out of bed). The capsules definitely taste better than the powder, and these are capsules.

Great product, have been using it for years now and found it to be reliably consistent and highly efficacious, the best on the market that I have used. I would recommend Solgar products to anyone.

I have found DLPA to be very useful, especially with my mood. I went off it for a couple of weeks and it was extremely noticeable. I find it great that the capsules don't look the same as all the other ones that are white so they are easy to identify.

The capsules are easy to swallow, and I feel a bit more focused and balanced during the day. Nothing dramatic, but it seems like a helpful supplement to include in my routine.
