Before brewing, I got a strong, lovely, sweet smell of vanilla, but after brewing, the strongest aroma was the earthy smell of burdock and a plant-like aroma (like wild vegetables). (Personally, I don't dislike it.) It tastes and drinks like a clean coffee. The earthy smell fades as you drink it, leaving a refreshing, slightly bitter taste. The aftertaste is also clean, with no unpleasant lingering aftertaste. It seems delicious with creamer, as the manufacturer recommends, like a cafe latte, but it's also delicious straight, so I'll try that someday. I also bought a turmeric one, but it was difficult to drink as is. (It may just be a matter of getting used to it.) It's expensive, so I'd probably repurchase it if it was on sale.

I have started drinking this in the morning after my single cup of half calf coffee. I love the calming and chill mood it gives me. I already drink spices in my coffee so having a cup of this with the lovely Coco and other light spices is refreshing and delicious. It can be a bit expensive and I don’t think this would replace coffee, but I do see the benefit and I’m happy with my purchase.
