L-Tryptophan, 1,000 mg, 120 Tablets

I often have trouble sleeping. I can usually fall asleep pretty easily, but staying asleep is another matter. I take a high dose of tryptophan every night, at least 1,000 mg. I appreciate that this pill is already in that dosage and can last me 4 months. The quality is great and it helps me sleep.

I mainly took L-Tryptophan because I had trouble sleeping. A friend suggested this product, been on it for couple of weeks and seen a difference. I did read up on it as I have Bi-Polar and it said it could cause a mania…..love my manias so hoping a mania comes soon

We take this to help us sleep. It is mild and relaxing. This is just a pure capsule of 1000mg L-Tryptophan, no other ingredients. They are a large sized white tablet, a very mild bitter taste, but fades quickly. Gives you the benefit of sleep without the 'hangover effect' of other sleep supplements.

I bought it as a substitute for 5-HTP, I try to take it daily before sleeping. I like it, but the pill always has powders on it and doesn’t look very smooth on edges for example. Yet that doesn’t change anything for my currently.

It doesn’t work for severe insomnia. I tried the Now brand a few years ago for my sleep, it did help before but not anymore
