Started Berberine because I read that it helped as a natural way to lower hlood sugar. When I took it before a meal, i took my Fasting Blood Sugar and the number was lower by 40 pts. I have since, for some unknown readon, had more normal blood sugars and HgbA1C. Idk why they got so high for a gew months but I have a chronic illness thst may have had some bearing on that. I believe that this is a good brand but recommend thst you do the research and talk with your doctor b4 you use Berberine if you are diabetic or pre-diabetic. I cI had no side effects and could be an alternstive for some people. This brand came in easy to swallow capsules.
