Really holds up in humid and hot environments; the hold is really strong. I personally add some water to my hands to dilute this gel a bit, because it's quite thick. A small amount goes a long way.
Apply on wet hair only, and you only need a tiny bit. No scent. I have a sensitive scalp and it doesnt irritate it, but i also dont apply it on the scalp! Keeps hold of my irish curls after I diffuse
There is no smell, which is why I purchased it. The curl is a little too sticky even in a small amount on the hair and it is difficult to get rid of the crust. In general, it holds the curls well
super love this gel, it's the best I've used and it has very strong hold. my curls last past four days and no frizzy mess. no fragrance so you're not dealing with a strong scent. great quality gel for a good price.
My hair has a loose curl pattern and this gel holds it perfectly without weighing it down or making it sticky. My favorite product that I use! It has no scent or other ingredients that could irritate a sensitive scalp, overall a great product and the bottle size is big enough to last a long time!
When the say strong hold, they mean strong hold. No scent as it is fragrance free so if you are sensitive to smell this is the product for you. One of the benefits, It gives a nice cast after diffusing but that will give you lasting curls. A little goes a long way so use small amount. A big size bottle and one of the best quality gels out there. Your hair will look and feel moisturized but you can use it together with the leave in conditioner.
I am a huge Curlsmith fan. Products changed my hair from a frizzy nightmare that took tons of work to tame, to a 2-minute routine that gets constant compliments from strangers (not joking!). I use this product in combination w Hold Me Softly style balm (applied first, followed by this gel). I’m not paid to say this- I’m just a huge fan!!
Great hold, but use sparingly if you have fine hair.
This gel for sure holds your hair and gives it that crunchy cast, but it does it too strongly for my liking. Even a small about of it coats my hair in this strange jelly film, it leaves a weird residue and coating. I think it works better for people with thicker coarser hair than medium - fine hair
I've got thin curly hair, but there is plenty of it, it can be frizzy so the right gel is key. I use it sparingly but it doesn't weigh my curls down. Creates a gentle cast that can be scrunched out. Good clean ingredients, no scent which is my desired choice. I will stick to this curl gel.
