We tried like 4 brands of Alpha Lipoic Acid, but all of them gave us stomacal pain. I don't know why, maybe we have a sensitive gut. We surely have gastritis tho...
I have difficulty with the size. It is fat and swallowing hurts my throat. I wish it is slimmer for it to go down more easy. I enclose a photo. The R-ALA is the white softgel on the left while the middle is a standard coQ10 softgel.

Really like the R-ALA soft gels, they not only taste good (faint taste of coconut), but seem to be helping my diabetic neuropathy. Just wish I didn’t have to take 3 for the correct dose.
Quality ingredients, I really like the product. The only thing I don't like is that the capsules are huge. I ordinarily have no trouble swallowing pills or capsules, but these hard to swallow.
Tried this higher dosage for eye health. I was taking a lower dosage three times a day, but it appears to be no longer offered here. Probably too soon to tell, but my eyes feel about the same. So, it is a win.

I already had lipoic acid but bought this because soft gel is a better fresher source of constituents that are easier to assimilate in the body, I believe. Alpha lipoic acid is used in the mitochondria part of the cells to give you more energy. Large size package, will last, dosage 3 soft gels per day, 300 included. The quality seems good in this new brand. My 3rd product from “micro-ingredients” because-soft gels.
