Just tried it for the first time and really like it! It has a rich, full flavor and isn’t “garlicky” (which I typically don’t like). My wife and I shared a can and she enjoyed that you could actually taste the black beans in it. Was it traditional gumbo? Up for debate. Was it really good and will I be buying it again? Yes!
I was hesitant to try this soup because it has meatless sausage but, it's delicious filled with a lot of veggies, whole grains and spices that come together for a quick and healthy dinner. I'm definitely going to order more.
