We need vitamin C for everything because our bodies don't produce it. I take two capsules in the morning with breakfast. Someone who takes care of themselves shouldn't notice anything. Some people say it makes them nervous to take it in the afternoon... that person had a deficiency, and their internal system starts to ramp up its activity. The solution is to take it in the morning at first. Then, when their body normalizes, they can take it at night, which is when vitamin C is used for repair. Read Linus Pauling.
