most people know very little about this important mineral. When my levels are low I suffer from severe cramping, particularly in my legs (charley horse). An inexpensive, safe supplement. The RDA in the US is 400mg (I believe it should be higher). 2/3 of the public don't even receive that meager amount. For years the conventional thinking was that calcium and magnesium should be in a 2 to 1 ratio (many people consume far less magnesium than that!). In my opinion, the correct balance is closer to 1 to 1. I take 2 capsules per day--one with lunch, one at bedtime. I believe it improves the quality of my sleep.

I took all other available combinations of Mg on the market and nothing worked for my cramps. Even at double the dosage of others and accumulating period. This with the regular 400 mg/day works like a charm every time straight from the first pill. No need to wait for accumulation to hit like with others either.
