I prefer food sources of vitamin C (rose hips, amla, camu, etc), but they are not practical when you want to megadose vitamin C. This brand is one of the highest quality forms of l-ascorbic acid I could find. It's non-GMO, and not a attached to buffering molecules that you may not want in high doses along with the vitamin C (sodium, calcium). If your stomach can tolerate straight l-ascorbic acid, this is a great product.
