Wonderful, but an unusual tea. Gourmet. Newcomers for the first time feel smell of rubber, pine needles, or smoked salmon =) But we have this tea is very, very much! It goes well with spicy, salty snacks. Love the fans Puer. Чудесный, но необычный чай. Для гурманов. Sometimes I will drink this for weeks at a time- especially in the winter time. A hot pot of infused organic Lapsang Souchong, a cozy blanket, a good book, and a beautiful view or warm fire make for a lovely way to spend an hour or two.... or more.... :) You can have several infusions from the same serving of leaves. I don't recommend buying this at all. 30+ CAD that literally went to the garbage bin. We infused it only once, after which my heart hurt, I felt dizzy and weak. After that I smelled the tea and it struck me that it smelled something between tar and resin. Such a poor quality now will make me doubt other products sold at iHerb. This is unfortunate since my previous experience with iHerb was impeccable.

To be truthfully honest, this tea smells and tastes like a trip to Silver Dollar City or a trip to a vacant Western Ghost town. It brews well, but the smell of oiled railroad planks linger with every sip. Even with almond milk and sugar, it is still pervasive --so know that before you buy it! This isn't smoky, this is hot-boxing. The size and package are great, but the taste leaves much to be desired.

I advise not to use it. Tastes horrible. Quality is ok.

As someone who drinks black tea daily, I was excited about the possibility of getting an organic black tea in bulk. As soon as it arrived, terrible. It smells AWFUL - oddly like bacon? And it tastes bad too. I don't know what blend they used here, because it says there's only one ingredient on the label. Do not buy this.

I like the quality of this tea. It smells smoky. Fun additive for my kombucha brewing. Seems to be high quality. Great taste. Excellent price for the size and uniqueness. Glad I found it here. I've used it frequently, twice a week for months and still have plenty left.
