High quality tea
I've been looking for authentic high quality assam tea and after a lot of hesitation, I got this. I do not regret it. It is VERY good! It is full of flavour. Steep it for 3-4 mins and add milk and sugar (if needed) and wow.. it's awakening. The packaging keeps the tea fresh and looks nice in storing too. I hope they make this in a bigger jar. This is expensive but it's worth every penny as it is high grade tea.

I love a classic English tea, the backbone of which is malty assam. Stands up well to milk/soy milk, nice with sugar, but also just perfect as is. I find it hard to overbrew, and it doesn't become as bitter as some other teas (sometimes I forget I'm brewing tea and it goes for 6 or 7 minutes!). Just the right amount of caffeine for afternoon pick-me-ups. A package lasts for a long time, if have as much tea as I do!

I love this tea. It is basic, yet complex, light but bold and understated yet elegant and can be sweetened with the lightest touch of turbinado sugar to bloom. This "blooming" brings a malty, rich, full-bodied black tea that comforts and empowers with it's moderate demeanor and flavor...yet it is still bold. This exciting contrast of purity makes Malty Assam one of my favorites for days that I don't know what I want as well as days of cerebral objectivity.
