Gluten Free Black Bean & Lime Soup, 3.4 oz (95 g)

Where I live, any sort of Latin American cuisine is quite limited. I generally end up cooking at home to satisfy my craving for any Mexican or Tex Mex dishes. While I wouldn't call ths the best Black Bean soup I've ever eaten it is pretty darn good. I've been preparing it so it has the consistency of refried beans and eating it with tortillas. It's a GREAT snack or light lunch. Some times I have to skip a regular lunch and need something at work to hold me through and this is a perfect "meal" to keep on my shelf and eat in the office. I hope iHerb keeps this in stock. I'll keep buying it if they do.

The amount of beans, thickness and taste almost makes this into barbeque baked beans. The lime flavour is subtle.

It’s a practical and nourishing meal for on the go use. It tastes good even though the consistency can be a bit strange. The ingredients are clean but the package is made of plastic. The quality is good and the size/ portion is enough to leave you satisfied. I bought it as an alternative to cup noodles, however I didn’t find it as comforting.

This high fiber, vegan soup is tasty and filling, though a little spicy for my taste. It works best to add boiling water, stir well & cover for 6 minutes. Just skip the microwave directions.

I like the ingredients in this item, but I felt it was a very thin soup. It wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped.

This is a very tasty soup. It is flavorful and hearty, and filling. I make it with boiled water and let the beans soak. They take a couple more minutes than the instruction says, maybe about 8-10 minutes, but still cook very well and stay hot. Great for on-the-go or work, where I don't have a fridge or microwave.

Shelf stable! All you need is boiling water or a microwave and you have a filling meal in less than 10 minutes. Great for camping, emergency meals or stashing in a desk drawer for forgotten lunch days.
