Love this kelp! It’s such an easy way to add minerals to everyday meals. The taste is mild, slightly salty and ocean-like, but not overpowering. I sprinkle it over salads, eggs, and soups instead of salt. Feels very nourishing and clean. A little goes a long way!

Maine Coast makes a variety of high quality seaweed products. I chose the kelp granules because I have hypothyroidism and am hoping it will increase my iodine levels and possibly allow me to get off medication. I sprinkle it on beans, rice, vegetables, you name it. It doesn’t have a fishy taste at all. I wish the size was a little larger but, overall, I am pleased with this product.

Convenient packaging. The taste is very mild and the saltiness is not pronounced. I add it to tofu dishes to enrich my vegan diet with iodine.

I don't like the flavor, so I don't sprinkle in my food. I purchased empty capsules and fill them up to take. I don't get a lot of iodine in my diet and I know I need it. I started developing a stye in one eye and taking less than a teaspoon clears it up in 1 to 2 days. I noticed if I just stopped, the stye started to come back, so I will continue taking it each day.

This is a great way to gently boost iodine in your diet. Smell is a bit fishy.. but to be expected. Size is generous. Sometimes I mix it with sea salt to create my own blend. I like the quality of this brand. Pure ingredients. Good to use daily. Easy to pack for travel as well.
