I've used this myself but also gave it to my mother when she developed memory problems. That was based on something I read on PubMed. It seemed to help her quite a lot - and was obvious when she missed a dose. The capsules were small-ish. No side effects. Doctor's Best was, when I first looked one of the few brands that had this form of lipoid acid.

My doctor recommended to me the r lipoic form, after years of taking the Alfa lipoic one. Seems this one is better even if it s not so easy to find on market. Must say it’s not my favorite brand of all time but the product seems to be honest and I trust my doctor a opinion so I’ll continue taking it.
