My main reason of consuming this magnesium complex is for bowel regularity (not constipation). Magnesium is a great mineral that is important for the muscles and nerves and provides osmotic laxative, it relaxes bowels and pulls water into intestines. The water helps soften and bulk up your stool and makes it easier to pass. I took 2 pills a day (500 mg) with heavy meals. Within 1-2 hours, you will feel the urge for bowel movement, no cramps whatsoever. I notice taking it with a big meal helps to stimulate the movement faster. Without the companion of heavy meal, I don't feel any bowel urge.

Me and my family are using this magnesium for the past month and it is been good. The formula is better than the one we used to take, that was pure magnesium oxide.
