It is a small plum sized fruit, with red outer skin, and sweet juicy fruit inside. Pairing Lychee complements well with slightly spicy, dry foods and nuts. It is also great for making sorbet and ice cream. Flavor Profile Sweet, rich flavor and aroma similar to red roses. Full-bodied, smooth brew with little or no astringency.

It's a good black tea with nothing off-putting about it, but as someone else said you wouldn't know this was lychee if it wasn't specifically stated. Even then I'm having trouble tasting or smelling any lychee. Weirdly enough I'm getting oolong notes from this so maybe you could say it's quite light for a black tea? again, unflavoured oolong. Now the package it comes in on the other hand is VERY nice and I will definitely try to re-use it.

Quality Tea but not strong Lychee taste
The ingredients are listed as black tea and litchi fruit, which instantly made me want to purchase this tea (i am a lover of lychee!) But i found i was a little disappointed with how LITTLE LYCHEE FLAVOUR there was. The QUALITY of the black TEA was evident and of course it is CAFFEINATED as it is a black tea blend. To everyone in my family who was served this tea, it was not liked by everyone as much as other teas. First we all tried the tea without any sugar and followed the instructions, (I normally use sugar and cream in black tea blends, but thought that would be very strange with lychee flavour as I wanted it to be refreshing and light.), one person really liked the flavour, another said it was good but a little unusual and they weren't sure how frequently they would drink it, and as for my sister and me it was a bit disappointing and i found myself having to add a bit of caster sugar to taste the fruit aroma better (which I really didn't want to do.) As for the packaging it is in a proper tea tin and its size is enough to make about 50 servings of tea. The tea is comparable with Harney & Sons in size and price. I cannot say that I would purchase this tea again.
