If you’re a fan of Lipton tea, the Tao of Tea Orange Pekoe would be right up your alley, as this is basically the higher quality version of the type of tea leaf used in Lipton tea. However, you can absolutely taste the difference when using this leaf, as it is crisper, brighter, and much cleaner in flavor. Definitely would recommend this as a fresh, crisp breakfast tea that stands up to milk and sugar, without being too strong and bitter in flavor. I have used these leaves in both boiling water as well as in 180 degree water (as recommended in the instructions on the tin), and I would say there is a huge difference in flavor between the two — definitely stick to 180 degree water if you want to avoid any astringent / bitter taste in your tea.
