It seems like no two Garam Masalas are the same, so I guess it comes down to individual taste. The Spicy World seems to have too much cloves or perhaps it has too much anise. I'm not sure because I don't have enough experience to tell the differences between the two spices. At any rate, both my daughter and I have a definite preference for the Simply Organic brand. Since we use other spices with our red lentils, we like this brand because the taste of our other spices isn't overpowered. We have also tried it on it's own and it has a pleasant taste of its own.
