I got this for my husband and so far he liked it. It improved his sleep and overall mood. He says he really feels relaxed whenever he takes barley. It has health benefit and aids in weight management too. However, he needed to take 3+ caps which is a little bit hassle since he is still taking other supplements. Overall, the quality is okay, price is decent and legit barley ingredient.
The quality of this superfood is a 10/10 can’t go wrong with clean and organic ingredients. It comes in a glass bottle and am so happy the package had extra bubble wrap to prevent it from breaking. There are so many benefits to taking barley. I take it to improve my GERD. My diet isn’t the best but these seem to help balance my acid and don’t get too many reflux episodes. It tastes a bit like grass but I personally like that. If that is something you can’t really tolerate you can open them up and mix it in with some apple juice or any juice really to mask the flavor.
I first bought the Just Barley brand almost 20 years ago. It is the purest form I have been able to find. It is grown in a mineral rich area of the United States and harvested when only a few inches tall. No part of the leave is in it. It is cold-pressed and slowly dehydrated into a powder.
I haven't opened the bottle yet, but barley grass is "liquid sunshine" and from my research it enables the body to make whatever kinds of new cells it needs. So probably no diseases which need stem cell therapy will happen to us who take it. B. G. always gives me plenty of clean energy if I drink 1 teapoonfful of the powder daily.
