Activated Charcoal, 100 Capsules (280 mg per Capsule)

I started taking this to detox. then I read you can use it to whiten your teeth. The charcoal sticks to tannens and slowly removes them. I use a tiny dab of NOW xylitol toothpaste (cause you don't want to swallow flouride and other crap in conventional toothpaste) and whatever charcoal I can get on my brush. Then, I apply the black paste and go read at night. Then, I swallow it with water, if I don't get out of bed to rinse. After a month, the color of my teeth overall are lightening, and in spots are white. I use it after drinking coffee, too. I like the results so far. Maybe in six months - white teeth. Better than toxic and expensive products for whitening!

Purchased this as I was travelling for 2 weeks to the other side of the world and not eating homecooked food. Always eating out and oily and salty dishes, I wanted to be ready to soothe my digestive system. I took this before or after any big meal and had no problem with digestion or breakouts afterwards, so it is definitely not a bad thing to take. However, of course it didn't keep me from feeling heavy at some point. I would recommend for occasional use if you know you're going to have a heavy meal as opposed to daily.

Great to have in the medicine chest for those times I have eaten something that has upset my stomach. Thank iherb for having some quality products at cheap prices.

It's a decent product, well priced and has helped me detox from mould. I like that it's the pure ingredient with no bulking or anti-caking agents. The only thing I would like to see is the use of pullulan capsules instead of gelatine but it's a minor gripe on an otherwise great product, good quality.

I keep this product on hand at all times. It is a lifesaver when you have emergencies like a toothache, an upset stomach or even food poisoning.

Activated Charcoal has helped me loose weight. I have been living unhelathy for most of my life. I was overweight, living in a big polluted city and was a chainsmoker. Every time I tried to loose some weight my body started to detox on it`s own. Getting rid of the bad stuff that was stored in the fat. That made it difficult to loose weight, because the detox was hard. The Activated Charcoal binds the poison in your body, and in that way helps you with the detox, and your weightloss. It is totally safe to take. But remember to take the activated charcoal and not regular charcoal, whicj is dangerous to consume.
