This is top quality pure ingredient spirulina, the benefits can be felt after doubling the suggested serving size once a day. The package can be improved though, it’s hard to scoop and measure out of such a small bag. There’s an algae smell but no algae taste, shaking it with milk and a dash of maple syrup nicely cover up the algae smell and taste.
Last week, I added this spirulina powder to my routine to get more natural nutrients in, and it’s turned out to be a great addition to my diet. I believe because its such a pure ingredient, do know that the taste is strong, but it blends nicely into the right recipe with lots of other fruits, honey and more. If you like the taste of matcha, then this is somewhat similar. Loving that I can add a superfood to my breakfast daily for a good detox.
