I began taking Bitter Melon. My glucose has now dropped in every reading by average of 50% in morning readings continuing at deep drops in overall readings during day. I take bitter melon to help minimize sugar spikes. This supplements other healthy habits (especially limiting food that causes sugar spikes!). I also have found in some research that eating fiber and fats first may help ‘smooth out’ sugar spikes of meals. This is all part of what I hope over time will decrease insulin resistance.
