Hawthorn Extract, 600 mg, 90 Veg Capsules

Bought this Hawthorn to help with high blood pressure. I like that this one has 600mg of the active ingredient. I hope to notice a benefit soon! Now products are always such a great value too with the amount of capsules you get and their quality is second to none. Most people don't know this, but Now is still a family owned company and hasn't been bought out by a large conglomerate like many other popular supplement manufacturers.

Once these were high quality with great ingredients that helped my symptoms….now they have added maltodextrin which raises blood pressure….why would you add this garbage to a heath product that is supposed to help with blood pressure and strengthening the heart?! The extra strength capsules were great and easy to swallow. I just wish they would stop adding the maltodextrin!!

I tried hawthorn extract mainly for heart and circulation support. It did give me a gentle boost in overall wellness and I felt it was doing something positive. However, I noticed it made me go to the bathroom to pee quite often. While that can be a good cleansing effect, it became a bit annoying when I was outside or busy, so I eventually stopped using it. The extract itself seems like good quality, but the frequent urination just didn’t fit my lifestyle.

I use it primarily for the circulatory system. I had arrhythmia and high blood pressure. Now everything is under control, I no longer have the mentioned problems. I've been drinking it for several years.
